- Robert Torres began training under Hanshi Rick Herbster, the founder and Master Instructor of RSKA (Rising Sun Karate Association). Master Torres is a graduate of Rowan University and while attending Rowan, he continued his training and teachings at the University. In 2004, Master Torres relocated to California finding warmer weather and more training. Master Torres began teaching his own students in 2006 and Crescent Moon Karate is quickly becoming one of the new and exciting Karate schools in Southern California.
